As the issues became more complicated, we decided it could do no harm to visit our local Virgin Holiday store in Bournemouth. So we booked an appointment yesterday and were met by one of their representatives, Poppy Smallpeice. She was extremely helpful - and very patient! She listened to what we wanted and took us through all the different options available very efficiently and carefully. She brought up a number of issues we hadn't thought about. We left with a holiday booked that meets all our requirements, feeling 'Wow, wasn't she good', . A really good service. Many thanks Polly for all your help and guidance.

We were greeted by Tam who was extremely helpful and made you feel very comfortable. Within an hour she had sent us a quote and we are going back next week to talk about the holiday.

I received a warm and friendly reception from Liv! She was courteous and open throughout the appointment, and clearly has experience over many years with Virgin. Her additional knowledge was invaluable to my booking a holiday, as I was able to ask questions as they arose, which she was able to answer openly (which is something you cannot guarantee from a webpage)! Overall had a really great experience and did not feel pushed into booking a holiday at all. Fantastic experience: Absolutely excellent service. Olivia was extremely helpful throughout the entire process from initial enquiry through to the final booking. Whilst she was very professional and effective whilst offering advise and multiple options for us. Nothing was too much trouble and i have to say this is exactly what you hope for but very rarely achieve. The only negatives (neither of which were down to Olivia) were that Virgin stopped the luggage drop off at Disney Springs and Universals Cabana Bay are now charging parking fees so we will almost certainly choose another hotel next time we go

Fantastic experience: Went into the branch with a bit of a challenge to work out the dream holiday. Added constraints meant I couldn’t make it work online but Kirsty saw me in the store and sat me down and together we worked it all out. Exemplary service and a big credit she is to Virgin.

Negative experience: Stay away from this store if you require an aftersales service. We booked a holiday through virgin to orlando florida everything included flights hotel and car park tickets. We were also grateful to hear upon booking they have an app that holds of your documents if ypu need them. So about 4 days before we went away I got reading some reviews about pushing timeshare sales at our particular hotel and them charging more if you don't attend there meetings so I tried calling the customer service number and couldn't get through. So I spoke to someone in the branch at castle point as they seemed to be my only contact. The lady said she would look into this and contact me back with in 24hrs guess what no contact back.. I also had an issue with accessing my documents on the app they said just print them? I questioned how do I access them abroad if we have a problem she said she would contact me back. No contact. Such a terrible service it was disgusting they literally want your money then do nothing for you.. We have just returned home and have been charged an additional day hire on the car because virgin didn't book it for long enough. So if you want unexpected hassle and no help these are the people for you
