Fantastic experience: Firstly I have no experience of breaks to go holidays. My mum used to organise trips for her Tuesday Club. She always said they were brilliant holidays run by an extremely competent professional company. My mum organised a trip to Blackpool recently before she passed away. 4 people pulled out and breaks to go gave the refund straight back to my mum's estate. Something they did not need to do. This is an outstanding gesture and one which has touched our hearts. I would personally like to thank breaks to go for looking after the Tuesday Club and my mum. And would like to thank all staff for the care they take with there customers. And would like to wish them every success going forward. It's not everyday we get to praise people for going above and beyond. Yours faithfully the Bruce family

Negative experience: If I could give zero stars I would.Total awful experience. 4 of us paid a fortune way back in June to attend a Gala Hogmany night in Liverpool for 3 nights.Bus took 7 hours to get there which was a long journey.On arrival at hotel first night we were offered a plate of scouse stew with absolutely no choice. Take it or leave it. The next night Hogmany gala night once again no choice for dinner we had soup and sweet sour chicken rice!! For hogmanay! Entertainment was a singer with a cheap speaker!! Could sing better myself! Everybody complained to the reception staff and manager and he blamed the company directly for paying hardly anything to them to put on the gala.Extremely angry and upset. This company are to be avoided. They have taken our hard earned cash and not delivered on what was promised.On speaking to them on our return they took no responsibility or blame merely shrugging their shoulders and offering no recompense or even an apology.Disgusting attitude to everyone who booked with this company. Everybody on the bus felt the same and complained too.Avoid at all costs.

Negative experience: My wife and I travelled by coach to Blackpool in September 2024. The journey took 6hours there and around 6 hours back. Both trips were uncomforting causing pain and fatigue and anxiety due to medical conditions. I have contacted the company and they have refused to reimburse any costs that I feel should have been met. I will never book with Breaks2Go ever again uncaring and poor company to correspond with. Fantastic experience: Just returned from overnight stay at Rob Roy hotel in Aberfoyle. Big thanks to our coach driver Big Joe and to Tommy Twigg for a great night of entertainment. Hotel room spotless, staff very friendly, lovely dinner and breakfast. Highly recommended.

Negative experience: Just back from Blackpool with a family of 5 one being a 1yearold child the trip down was fine driver was pleasant enough on way amd hotel was good vaule but home was whole different story my daughter was sworen at by the male driver and when telling me upset the lady driver interrupt to see why she was upset after I said about male driver she continued to stand over me putting her hand in my face at least 3 times telling me to listen ita juat way he is when a said its not proffesinal she tried her best to defend him and pick faults on our hand luggage even tho there was none so once she realised this we were threaten to be throw off the coach, I contacted the company to make them aware of the situation and got a email back saying how there drivers are saying a different story and are a credit to there company so basically my family are lairs and other people who approached me to see if we were OK were lairs..... I wouldn't advise anyone with elderly or young children in there family to travel with this company or anyone after the company's respsonce especially when there's a issue its made out we are lien and drivers are so honest.... we went on this trip as family and we are not the sort family to make a issue out of nothing, I do hope that no-one else experiences the treatment we did as ruined a good trip I wouldnt recommend anyone to use this company was our 1st time with this company and feel disgusted been made out lairs we are valued customers of caldeiona travel past 18years making at least 3 trips a year and never have I had a issue like this before..

Fantastic experience: Just back from Blackpool stayed in Craig Y Don for the weekend. What a great time we had from start to finish. Bus Drivers were great both journeys and a big shout out to Keith the waiter what an amazing man treated us like royalty for the whole weekend

Fantastic experience: We’re just home from an amazing trip to Blackpool. This was our first holiday with breaks2go Booking was easy with no issues. I made a request to sit close to the front of the bus as I’m not a good traveler the driver had a seat reserved for me as i made sure this was highlighted when I booked so thanks for accommodating this. Our driver Alan was a star and got us there with no issues and in good time. We stayed at the Craig Y Don which came highly recommended by friends we can’t wait to come back would recommend booking with breaks to go and can’t wait to book our next trip :) Thanks Shane and Ruari Duffy

Fantastic experience: This was our first time with breaks to go and it certainly won't be the last. We were kept up to date with booking,and tram passes. Our departure from from Glasgow on Friday there was to be 9am to Blackpool, but we were still at the bus station at 9.45am when this male driver showed up and said he was a replacement as other driver was sick.! He was grumpy and made a comment I'm sick having to come half way over country to drive you lot to Blackpool.!! He got everyone on bus and said right got two options we can stop off at Gretna or head straight to Blackpool.. people wanted to stop at granta. We began our journey over an hour late, no more talk from him, and ended up circling around East Kilbride looking for more passengers. Thus put another 30 mins on top, so eventually we set off... Still no talk from driver or an apology. 6 and half hours later we arrived in Blackpool, to the hotel.. goergian hollies, could not fault it, we had bed, breakfast and evening meal, the hotel was spotless as was the bedroom, food was lovley. The hotel is walking distance to town centre. The room was cosy and warm. Staff always friendly and attentive. Cannot comment on entertainment as we went out but bingo was good. The only downfall was guests gather at main doors to smoke considering there is a small seated area next to bottom of stairs. The driver back up to Glasgow was happy as Larry. Well done Breaks to go we will be re booking.

Positive experience: At Largs enjoyed 60s and 70s weekend hotel good and our coach driver Jack couldn't do enough for you well dressed and a lovely person

Fantastic experience: Went to the grand day out with my slightly disabled brother. The driver miles was brilliant with him getting him on and off the bus. We had a great time lovely lunch and entertainment. Will definitely be back. Thanks again to Miles the bus driver

Positive experience: I'm sorry to say that on the coach from Hamilton to Georgian Hollies my friends case was put off at the Sheraton .by luck we looked out of the window and noticed her case sitting on its own. She had clearly written on the label that we were going to the Georgian Hollies. I suggest that the drivers make sure that they read the labels

Fantastic experience: Having just returned from 8 days in Blackpool, I have to say that despite the weather, awful, to say the least, we had a lovely stay at the The Strand Hotel….Accommodation , food ( excellent ), and staff, I have to say, went the extra mile, to ensure a pleasant stay. I travelled with my 98 year old father, and I appreciate the assistance I received, to make my visit just that little bit easier. Mary, Brian, and your team, thank you ! Negative experience: Just back from Southport A trip that was 3rd time lucky having been cancelled Twice by company Ended up being a bit of a mystery tour with the Driver informing us just before we arrived at Hotel that the itinerary was changed and that any concerns should be aired to Breaks 2 go by telephone The Hotel The Prince of Wales was undergoing renovations.The en-suite looked like it had a recent makeover except for hot water which was missing for 3 days It was like faulty towers The room I was allocated had damp patches and a badly fitted adjoining door to the next room which contained 2 very loud ladies who could be heard over the high volume TV Obviously I did not get much sleep Service was available if you asked and rooms were also unserviced This Hotel needs Alex Polizzi to advise both Britannia and Breaks to go on how to treat your guests

Fantastic experience: Just back from a weekend (15th-18th march)in Blackpool with 4 other friends. We stay in the Sheraton Hotel it was absolutely great. Our rooms where lovely. Very clean ,tea,coffee biscuits ect always refreshed every day along with towel change. Staff lovely & very friendly. Food was excellent. We where all very happy with our stay & would definitely recommend this hotel. We where in coach 3 going down & coming back home, the 2 coach drivers where excellent.

Negative experience: Hotel given was the Georgian hollies room was cold bathroom had faulty shower panels and the food was cold no good atmosphere with staff especially staying at Christmas ended up taking ill whilst away complained to hotel but not much done complained to breaks to go when home and after 3 weeks a few emails and two phone they got back to me basically saying thanks for letting us know

Fantastic experience: Picked up locally. Drivers are friendly and helpful.Journey up and down was pleasant. Hotel lovely and we all had a great time away. The price incl tram tickets which we made good use off. Great time had by all.

Negative experience: Eight hour yourney. One toilet stop. No toilet on bus. Booked seats on a coach but small bus turned up to pick us up !! The journey took us from east coast to the west then back to the east !!!. Who decides the route. I'd like them to try the journey themselves. .

Fantastic experience: Was at willow bank Largs at weekend had a brilliant time bus driver was great staff at hotel was Brill couldn't do enough will definitely be back thank again for a great weekend

Negative experience: Paid for line dancing break, but could not get on floor to dance as there were at least double the people wanting to dance on a floor not big enough for us all and squashed into tables. A health and safety nightmare. Hotel was great, food, rooms, staff could not be faulted only space for dancing.

Fantastic experience: Had a great overnight stay at Britannia hotel Aberdeen; it was basic but clean and the food was very good. The driver was friendly and entertaining. Unfortunately, the Northern lights didn't make a show. Great value for money. Would recommend.

Fantastic experience: Just back from Sunny Largs Christian and friends weekend at Willowbank. Great staff very friendly nothing was a problem Paul on bar very friendly funny and chatty. Christian spot on funny a live wire never stopped excellent. What can i say about our bus driver Alan friendly funny cheeky chappie in a good way.wonderful weekend thanks

Negative experience: Holiday to Llandudno 3weeks ago. Hotel advertised entertainment didn’t happaen excursions changed without notice wouldn’t travel to this hotel EVER when complaint made we were told we should have complained before we came home. We told driver also manager ignored

Positive experience: Coach trip to Llandudno gave 3 stars because coach comfortable and driver John professional and helpful at all times. Otherwise would have made it 1 star. Llandudno a beautiful seaside town however the 2 star rated hotel was a disgrace, dated, unclean and showering facilities poor, water cold and shower broken. Should not be placing customers there.

Positive experience: Booked a trip to blackpool with this company. Carrie one of the drivers was absolutely brilliant along with her side kick shaun .journey down was a bit of a nightmare due to temperature of coach which turned out to be a major fault .. 30 min stop over at gretna then straight to blackpool Booked into oaklea hotel but thats anotter story. Journey back we were hoping to be picked up at 1 30 but were still in blackpool at 3pm. Due to dropping off and picking up no dundee drop off so by time i got to edinburgh i had missed a connecting train by 5 mins. By the time i got home it was 11.45pm. All;in all would certainly use this company again huge pat on the back to carrie, shaun and stewart the drivers you guys are brilliant at your job

Negative experience: Never use you again didn't get picked up till 4pm while 3 other coaches came n from 130 for pick ups and drop off no apology all interested in money didn't want to even include 1 star eventually got picked up then still had to do pick ups and drop offs so don't even know when we will get home. Only had a 10 minute stop off. Had to drop off at CainLodge. Then Hamilton Then East Kilbride. Meant to say it was 2 men drivers.

Positive experience: Just back from Southport, Liverpool and Chester tour. We didn't know outing to Liverpool was changed to Bury Market until we boarded bus. The driver was quite abrupt at times. On departure he parked bus across from hotel leaving us to carry luggage across a main road. The hotel was clean, food terrible therefore had to eat elsewhere. Did not like the fact we had to ask at reception for clean towels and toilet rolls. Your company needs to change hotel in use.

Went to Fleetwood, Cleveleys and Lytham St. Annes. Other hotels were available but I chose the Strand because of it's great reviews. I would definitely book with breaks to go again.

Fantastic experience: I want to say we had excellent a week at Blackpool. Carrie made our holiday on the coach .My wife broke her foot and Carrie was excellent at looking after us We will definitely going with Breaks to go everytime now from Glenrothes.

Fantastic experience: Just back from a great last minute deal to the Blue Water Hotel with Breaks2Go for myself and daughter. Going by coach was so convenient, quick and relaxing. Drivers were helpful, entertaining and efficient; We had Wilma and Jasmine on the way down and Carrie and Sean on the way back... all excellent! The Hotel was great, in a seafront location not too far from North Pier, with pleasant, friendly staff and clean room. Food was fab, buffet breakfast and a 3 course dinner with something to suit even a fussy teenager! Will need to return to try out the pool, bar and games room. Would definitely recommend!

Negative experience: Absolutely shocking company. Brother booked a 3 night holiday to Blackpool for 4 adults including me from 26th May until 29th May 2023. Firstly we were booked into 1 bedroom for 4 adults . Then they swapped us to another hotel, The Balmoral, absolute disgrace rooms were in. Old mattress with umpteen covers on it to try and make it look soft. 3/4 size bed and 1980 pink sink and shower. Knees touched shower curtain when seated On toilet. Roof tiles on bathroom ceiling filthy and badly water marked . Not enough room to walk round sides of bed and filthy brown curtains and nets looking into brick wall and filthy back court. Definitely not the rooms shown on their website. So beware. Demanded to get moved out of this supposedly hotel . We we’re informed other guests told us they’ve got a discount aswell because it was getting refurbished . Very unhelpful staff at Breaks2Go on phone. We eventually got moved to sister hotel next door The Craigy-Don and manager and staff especially Neil could not be more helpful. Excellent hospitality from Neil and he made sure we were happy. We had to move room 3 times during our stay and couldn’t unpack suitcase due to being constantly moved. Staff apologised all the time but fault lies with Breaks2Go from the start to finish. Brother is looking into this further and has contacted the company, we will await their excuse, but will never recommend them.

Positive experience: Our experience with Breaks to go were good most of the journeys. We went to Blackpool with them in March. Everything was good. Friendly coach drivers. Clean tidy bus. Good journey.

Fantastic experience: Had a lovely 5 day break last week in Blackpool. Nice comfortable drive down with Clare and Gary, and Craig and Gary on way back. We stayed at Doric which has had a refurbishment and looks stunning. Food excellent and nice to see the longserving staff in Dawn and Louise. Excellent value with travel passes included. Would definitely recommend using Breaks 2 Go.

Negative experience: We have used breaks2go for years but after our holiday being cancelled with short notice we will not be back. The member of staff who called my wife basically didn't care that our holiday had been cancelled even though we can't change our time of work. Thanks again for ruining our holiday.

Fantastic experience: We had an amazing holiday at the Georgian and hollies hotel well worth the money a d staff were amazing only problem we had was the transport down and back all they pick ups and drop off it took us 7 hours and that was only to Dundee it would possibly of been easier if the drivers stayed over the night before at hotel we wouldn't of been home as late we left Blackpool back of 2 and didn't get home till back of 11pm

Fantastic experience: Had a fabulous weekend at the Sheraton Hotel on our all girls trip. Food was great and the service was exceptional. Accommodation was lovely and clean. Will definitely be returning. Also the coach travel was very organised by Carrie, Craig and Stuart? Nothing was a trouble for them.

Fantastic experience: Hotel Ruskin and staff first class traveling down is ok coming can be a problem .When are ready at 11am and the coach arrives st 3pm followed by a 4 hour journey tired by the time you come home.

I received fantastic customer service from the personnel, especially Josie and Karen:) Our driver, Gary, gave my wife and I a warm greeting and was excellent the entire way. We stayed in the Craig-Y-Don, which at the moment seems to be very well-liked. Excellent food, lodging, and entertainment. We will undoubtedly use Breaks2Go again for travel. Many thanks!

Fantastic experience: Another trip to blackpool with blackpool breaks had a wonderful journey up an down with the best drivers ever, so polite and will do anything for you his name is stevie great guy gave us sweets and was so polite. Ps carie was ok aswell.

Negative experience: Worse customer service I have ever encountered. Booked wrong dates and refused to acknowledge the complaint. Instead they lied about their actions, tripping themselves up and contradicting themselves in the process. They booked the wrong dates and tried to blame the 88 year old customer and his wife. The head honcho is abominably obnoxious. If you read through their bad reviews you will find some which are extremely disturbing and people whose experience was much worse than ours. I would have given them a better review if they had had the grace to simply admit to an error and apologise instead of trying to lay blame on the client.

Negative experience: Booked our 1st holiday through breaks to go paid in full week later they cancelled the holiday as not enough going. Cancelled by letter didn't even call.

Negative experience: Booking was easy, bus journey and pick up no problem. But unfortunately for us as a family of 6 we were disappointed about the hotel. Walking I to the hotel reception the carpets were completely stain and dirty looking, the rooms were very outdated and wasn't cleaned properly other people belonging left. Shower curtain was disgusting and shower tray mould covered in other people's hair. So after we cleaned our own rooms heading down for dinner. Wow ever chair was stained and dried in food makes, food came and yeah only thing we ate as a family of 6 was the roll that went with the packet soup. Breakfast in the morning was fine. Use of the pool advertised was 1 per stay then you had to pay £30 was never mentionedonly said use of pool, entertainment was only Saturday for 2 hours then nothing and same on the Sunday very disappointed as advertised nightly entertainment. Complained to reception for them to say contact breaks to go phone them and all the say is send an email then no response. First time with breaks to go and unfortunately the last. Bluewater hotel give it a huge miss!! Very disappointed with the non response paying for your food and when you get there having to eat out daily, very run down hotel only positive was the lovely man TAZ that was really lovely.

Fantastic experience: We have just come back from Blackpool after a 5 day break with Breaks2Go. One of the best holidays coach companies, in my opinion, around. We stayed at the Craig-Y-Don and had a wonderful time. This is the fifth time we’ve stayed there. The hotel is very clean and comfortable, all the staff are extremely welcoming, they can’t do enough for you. The food is yummy along with the waiters, who are fun and nothing is too much bother for them. Our coach trip there and back was excellent especially our drivers Gary and Craig who took very good care of us all on the bus. Looking forward to another trip soon.

Negative experience: We went from Bathgate on Monday the 15th of August till Friday the 19th.The bus drivers were excellent on both journeys. The lady was a driver we had before and she is ac credit to the company. Sadly the hotel Oak Lea was terrible as was the food. We have been in the Ruthvin, the Sutcliffe and the Hollies and all were brilliant but the Oak Lea forget it.

Steve and Carrie (coach drivers) were great hosts on the trip there and back and were brilliant with both elderly and children especially my youngest who is only 6 Steve joked with her, helped her off the bus etc and made jokes with the other children making the journey more enjoyable I would definitely go back with breaks to go.

Fantastic experience: Great experience. First time on a coach holiday and will definitely book again. Coaches very comfy and drivers are lovely. Only 3 pick ups down to black pool and 3 drop offs. We got a 30min comfort break at gretna but toilets and water for sale on bus. Left at 7am and was in blsckpool by 1.15! Hotel was great and breaks to go were very helpful at all contact points. I went with my 11 year old son and would definitely say it's family friendly. I did notice that Carrie was very good with some of the older passengers who were hard of walking which was great to see! Will be booking again!

Positive experience: 5 stars for John our driver! We had a fabulous four nights at the Bromsgrove Hotel (thanks to entertainment provided by the coach drivers). We felt the hotel and breaks2go offered great value for what we had paid for our break. Only suggestion - an urn would be safer for hot water in the mornings. For anyone concerned about refugees living at the hotel - we had no negative experiences. Children were well behaved and mothers appreciated being spoken to kindly. Also additional security presence in the hotel.

Fantastic experience: Had a brilliant time at the Pullman hotel liverpool very nice hotel room was very spacious and the bed was so comfy stayed 2 nights with breakfast and there was everything you could possibly want all lovely and fresh and nicely presented would definitely recommend this hotel and our driver Wilma was a lovely woman so friendly and nothing was a bother definitely use breaks2go again had a brilliant holiday to liverpool first time and wont be the last
