Negative experience: Grumpy angry old man at Braehead. As a potential new customer, first ever experience at Barrhead travel and what a joke. Seemed to be annoyed we walked into the store which is just bizarre when you want to spend money. Seemed to be busy with a task on his computer, if so, say so and direct us to another rep and do it with a smile or take the day off or maybe just quit and find something that will bring a bit of joy to your life. Based on that first experience, will not bother ever visiting any store again. Better off with Hays travel which is couple doors down or “onthebeach” app. Please train your staff on basic customer service. Avoid the Braehead store at all costs!! That should not be the first thing closet to a customer when entering the store.

Negative experience: Get my flight tickets late because the name on the ticket was wrong (barrhead travels fault) to be told will be fixed at check in that was wrong information, it couldn't be fixed but we were allowed to fly ,then we tried leaving ny what a hassle that caused first check in wouldn't let my husband fly home until I asked for the supervisor who told me this time will let you home but should have been fixed with your travel agent before flying . Will never book again with barrhead travel breahead

Negative experience: Booked a holiday for Christmas and New year to Tenerife I had paid £900 ,I had to cancel, I was told the first time I called that someone would call me back for my bank details they didn't, I called back I was told again someone would call me back eventually on the 17th May I spoke to a lady who assured me if my money wasn't in by the Tuesday the 23rd of May it would definitely be in the following Tuesday as it's always a Tuesday they pay out. I had to call today as my refund of £780 is still not in the bank I was told by Ross that his manager Angela is busy but will call me when she is available, I don't believe him I am getting ready to go up to the shop, hopefully it'll be harder for them to lie to my face. Absolutely awful company stay well clear of them!! It is now the 6th June and still no refund!!Angela the manager told me last week I would definitely have my money today and she is away on holiday this week, very convenient, I will be reporting this dreadful company.

Fantastic experience: After visiting Hayes Braehead where we couldnt get anything better than we found ourself online (Basically served by a "Computer says NO kinda girl" we popped into Barrhead Travel and had a welcoming greeting from Edward who quickly found us what we required and also price matched an online quote. He was partially assisted by Emma and they both had us sorted and happy within 10 minutes. (Gural 5* in Belek) Great service and we are now booking another holiday just now with Edward while we are still on holiday. Great staff that wont just offer you any old rubbish. Thanks

Positive experience: Went in to see about a multi center holiday in USA for next year, and Chris took us through all our options, got a great price and booked everything for us. Negative experience: Am looking for my refund of my holiday which I should be currently on, have emailed your company plenty of times - all I received is the automatic response. Now have emailed your company at the Braehead Store, which Intu Security told us it would be open today 13/7/2020, nope it closed. Very annoying. This was to be our first holiday abroad in 18 years, firstly COVID-19, now my holiday was cancelled - like everyone else’s. I would like to know when can I get my money back.

Fantastic experience: Great shop with fantastic helpful staff. We had a voucher as a gift and the staff member couldnt have been helpful in searching, suggesting and eventually securing us a great holiday on the Isle of Arran. Thanks Barrhead Travel we will be back.

Negative experience: Staff were disinterested, and were visibly reluctant to get up to greet or assist us. Apparently had never booked flights to Stockholm before and this seemed to cause confusion.

Positive experience: If you have no idea where you want to go on holiday, I can understand the need of physical travel shops, but there was no brochures to view or look at, everything all done online and so you could have done the exact same thing yourself. Staff helpful and friendly until they know that you want to think about it.

Negative experience: very disappointing experience, Barrhead travel charge service charges above actual online price, the holidays I booked with barrhead travel at intu braehead were £100 expensive than online price, no point to argue on that with staff as its waste of time. I would never book my holidays again in this place. Zero customer service.........
