Fantastic experience: We booked the taxi tour at the visit Belfast centre and were collected within 20 mins. We had a fantastic tour with Mickey ( apologies if this is wrong) who was extremely knowledgeable. It was by far the most interesting thing we did on our day in Belfast and would highly recommend this tour.

Brendan was open about his own personal experiences and went above and beyond for us to answer all of the questions we had. We will be recommending this to all of our Australian friends/family.

Fantastic experience: Lovely guide called Jim who was so knowledgeable and able to give us his first hand experiences, having grown up through the conflict. Lots of stops to get out and look at things close up. The tour was indepth and doesn't feel rushed. You cannot come to Belfast without doing this tour - it was both interesting and sad. I was surprised and shocked - lots of emotions. It opens your eyes to the reality of the troubles- totally a unique and fascinating experience! Don't pay the tour operators £100+, this is exactly the same tour but you cut out the tour operator fees!!

Fantastic experience: Our tour with Patrick was excellent. We saw a significant collection of murals in different sections of the city, including in both Catholic and Protestant areas. His knowledge of Northern Ireland, Belfast, and the Troubles was extensive, and intertwined with his own personal history. Even though it was only scheduled as a 90 minute tour, he made extra stops and took his time with our questions so we were out with him for two hours at no extra cost. One of the best tours we've ever been on.

Positive experience: The taxi murals tour was very interesting and stopped at many powerful memorials in West Belfast. Our guide took us to sights in both Protestant and Catholic neighborhoods, but the discussion of the conflict only presented the nationalist point of view. My husband and I were disappointed to only hear one side of the story.

Fantastic experience: I did the Murals tour recently with family and our tour guide, Kieran, gave us an amazing insight into all that has happened in Belfast throughout the historic years of 'the troubles'. He was so knowledgeable and extended the tour way longer than expected. We had many interesting stops along the way and an additional stop to visit Clonard Monastery. I would highly recommend this tour and it would be a real bonus if you have Kieran as your guide!

Fantastic experience: Our tour with Billy was the highlight of our stay in Belfast, if not for him we would have left feeling a little empty, he was very passionate and shared many personal experiences from his childhood. The tour was supposed to run for up to one and a half hours, Billy gave us two hours and we still didn't finish everything. I highly recommend this tour, and I hope everyone gets someone like Billy.

Negative experience: Beware if you get Patrick as your driver! We did the murals tour and it was extremely disappointing! We didn’t stop at the majority of the stops. We only got to see the republican murals on the Falls road so it was very one sided. There were a number of other stops promised on the tour which we never got to see including the peace wall where you are suppose to be able to sign your name, the shankill road and also crumlin court and jail. We stood at the falls road for nearly 45 minutes while 3 other taxis pulled up and left again in that time! Patrick was really trying to drag it out, he had no intention of taking us to all the stops. He must’ve been trying to save on fuel costs! After the tour I rang the office numerous times to explain my disappointment with what had happened. Each time I was told they would investigate and call me back. Nearly a month later I am still waiting on the call back! I can’t believe the lack of professionalism and accountability! I am shocked that we had to pay £50 for a tour that we didn’t even see half of. It’s a complete scam! Save you money and go on the hop on hop off bus tour! At least you’ll get a chance to see all the stops and learn so much more for a fraction of the price!

Fantastic experience: Black taxi tour with Joe Skelly We arrived in Belfast on early flight from Edinburgh on Monday 3rd August, our airbnb host Barry arranged for his Uncle Joe to collect us from the City Centre and provide a tour experience of the murals while our apartment was being made ready. Our knowledge of the troubles was limited and Joe took this on board as he provided us with a great history lesson filling in the detail with his extensive knowledge and personal experience. Joe was very entertaining and I would highly recommend the tour for anyone visiting Belfast, my daughter preferred this tour to the Titanic exhibition!

Fantastic experience: Whilst in Belfast for September weekend, we booked Taxi Trax for the taxi tour. Our driver, Mickey, was very knowledgeable, with a great sense of humour. Would highly recommend doing the tour if visiting Belfast.

Fantastic experience: Top service. Always out and avout on the road. For some people to know they are not a private taxi service and you cannot phone for them to come pick u up. They operate similar to buses and are public. The main route is from the town up the falls, Andytown road and stewartstown road and Ardyone. Nipping i to various areas like Ladybrook, Twinbrook so on. The desintation sign will show in the front window.

Fantastic experience: My wife and 4 kids took the political tour.Our kids ages are 18,14,11 and 9 and from the start of the tour to the finish our driver Patrick had each of us enthralled.The kids learned more in 2 hours about The Troubles in Northern Ireland than they would in 10 years of school.This is a must do tour when In Belfast and if your lucky enough to get a driver called Patrick then you are in for a great tour.

Fantastic experience: A very intense two-hour encounter with the Northern Ireland conflict. The main sites are explained, and individual fates are also highlighted. There were enough opportunities to ask questions, all of which were answered very competently. Absolutely recommendable!

Positive experience: Some times there is a massive queue, other times you jump right into a taxi. Make time for delays of 20 minutes before deciding to jump in for the normal taxi service. Other than that, cheapest way up the falls road and friendly staff

Negative experience: After watching a political tour from one of your drivers I can only say that as a lower shankill resident I'm disgusting in the one sided approach and how your driver continually belittled the residents of the lower shankill and of the protestant culture as a whole

Negative experience: We took their mural tour. Driver seemed bored out of his skull doing that again, he somehow avoided answering any questions. An hour in the tour we just wanted to get off and see everything ourselves especially since he insisted i was ignorant of the situation in Belfast as a foreigner and kept trying to explain in all detail who Bobby Sands was. He made a couple of huge faux pas like calling Ocalan a Turk and was continuously in my face if i disagreed with anything. Not very pleasurable but it saves you getting wet from the rain.

Negative experience: Asked for a taxi from Dunmurry and the operator said they only did west Belfast, thought Dunmurry was west Belfast, and he called me rude for saying so and hung up!! Avoid these clowns, I can't imagine what the drivers are like if the phone operators are that bad.
