Fantastic experience: Ryan was a great punter, he helped to make our day in Cambridge really special. He was very humorous and informative. I had no idea about King Charles - I won't go into it here. Also he was very helpful to some of the beginner punters on the river - pointing out when one had his pole the wrong way round. His knowledge of how the mathematical bridge was constructed and how it holds together was impressive - and quite a myth buster. It was a great punting tour - thanks Ryan.

Fantastic experience: Personally, i thought this would be boring. I was wrong. Our punter/tour guide ryan made us all laugh and was very educative, telling us the many fun facts along the route. I would definately recommend this. It was my first time doing this so maybe we got super lucky with our tour guide....either way its worth doing.

Positive experience: Very informative tour the sunny weather made it! Would recommend. The only thing I’d say is our seats were facing backwards so would have been nice to face forwards! But other than that one of the best things we done in Cambridge.

Fantastic experience: A big Thank You to Will Raven our tour guide. Punting on the Cam was a highlight of our mini tour of England. He was extremely informative and engaging. This is a definite must do while in Cambridge. It’s a great way to see 7 of the Beautiful colleges and bridges that help to make up the Cambridge Campus. The boat was comfortable and they even provided blankets because though a beautiful day it was a bit chilly. Easy to book and was well run.

Fantastic experience: Excellent service. The staff are punctual and helpful. Our guide Oliver was a champ and made the reasonable price (£50 total for 3ppl) well worth it. He was informative, relaxed and funny, even when his punting pole got stuck in the mud and he needed another punter to save his pole. The tour gives a unique and beautiful view of several colleges from the water. I would definitely recommend the service to anyone curious about seeing a small section of Cambridge.

Fantastic experience: We were booked to go punting and the rain was coming down pretty hard. The crew at let's go were using pitchers to get the water out of the boats and we were very impressed by their dedication. The person running the schedule agreed to let us delay our tour by 30 minutes which was all we needed to wait out the worst of the rain. They dried the benches, laid fresh blankets on the seats and packed 2 umbrellas for our group and we set off with Ollie, our wonderful punter, down the River Cam. Ollie did a great job of telling us the history of Cambridge and its most famous colleges. He made the trip so enjoyable for us and offered to teach any of us how to punt. Only one of us was brave enough to try! The rain stayed away for the 55 mins tour and it only started to rain again when we reached the dock at the end of our tour. So we somehow managed to go out on our punt during the only 55 min stretch in the day without rain. That made for a wonderful trip down the River Cam. Thanks to Let's Go for being so accommodating with our schedule and also to Ollie for being a wonderful guide and punter. We loved our tour!

The route itself takes you along ‘The Backs’ of Cambridge’s many colleges and there are many hidden gems to keep an eye out for. What made it even greater was our chauffeur Will that made me love every second of it! He was very funny, kind and welcoming and told us many interesting stories, 'myths' and jokes about Cambridge. Just a week before I had a gondola ride in Venice, but I can say with no doubt that I preferred the punting tour in Cambridge much more. Negative experience: The punting bit was fine, enjoyed a nice trip along the river on a sunny day. As for the guided element - Will started off with a couple of dates for various things with the vast majority of the trip then spent in complete silence. Was hoping for some interesting facts about Cambridge so felt that part was somewhat lacking, unfortunately.
