Fantastic experience: What a fantastic holiday we have just enjoyed in Seville, courtesy of Sarah and Andrea at Idelo Travel. The hotel recommended for us, the Petit Palace Puerta de Triana, was ideally situated and perfect for our needs, being within easy access of all the major sites of the city centre. Their breakfast was a particular highlight, setting us up nicely for busy days of sightseeing in 40-degree temperatures! Everything about our holiday was expertly organised for us, as we have by now come to expect, from the chauffeur transfer to the airport to our printed boarding passes which made it a doddle to go through check-in with minimal fuss. Idelo took any stress out of the organisation of our trip, leaving us to relax and enjoy our holiday from start to finish. We could not recommend the services of Andrea and Sarah more highly.

Fantastic experience: Idello organized our trip to Switzerland, it was a guided tour. Our tour guide was a lady named Kim, who really knew her stuff. Knew the best places for pictures, what to get pictures of, where to get something to eat, and drink, things to see of interest, and importantly where the wash rooms were, and which were free! As predicted there was 26 people on the coach, including the guide, which led to a great atmosphere, everyone got on well, with no issues. Though the atmosphere might have got a bit thin on the mountains above the clouds! The weather was astounding, ranging from 25° to 35° With the odd thundery shower, but mostly blue sky, sun shine and heat. At times it was hard to believe we were high up in the Swiss Alps. It was an amazing holiday, I would definitely recommend Switzerland as a destination, and Idelo Travel for organizing it all for us. Thanks again. Keith and Jo.

Fantastic experience: Having used Idelo a couple of times for both summer beach holidays and city breaks I cannot recommend them highly enough. They organise everything from start to finish with perfection and always suggest excellent excursions.

Fantastic experience: I called idelo to arrange a Greek island hop. I had an idea of which islands I wanted to visit which were Santorini, Naxos and Paros and Sarah arranged everything for me including hotels, ferry tickets, taxis, transfers etc. I was provided with a full itinerary giving dates, times, pick ups and everything else in between. I couldn’t have been happier with the whole experience of booking to the actual Holiday itself. We had an amazing time on 3 amazing islands and the help received from Idelo and Sarah was second to none. Fantastic experience: Andrea and Sarah provide an excellent service. They helped us with planning our special holiday to celebrate our 30th anniversary. We wanted to travel to Canada and they undertook a full search for us taking out all the hassle and tailor made a trip that was perfect . Fantastic experience: I have used Idelo for multi-city trips now and their service has been incredible. I first booked a trip to Australia for a wedding just after covid restrictions were lifted. Andrea did an amazing job at handling all of my requests and finding something that fitted my budget and my needs. She even arraigned my flights so that I had an opportunity to recover from my jet lag. I certainly wouldn't have had such an easy journey if I had tried to do this on my own. I am an anxious traveller, and it was such a weight off my mind to know that I didn't have to research all of the flights and hotels myself. The second trip was a work trip to Canada that I also combined with some holiday days. Sarah and Angela were a massive help again and were so accommodating of my awkward requests to book some hotels through them and handle others myself. When I told Angela that someone had recommended visiting Quebec, she advised that because of my interests, I would be better off booking two nights rather than one. This knowledge is invaluable! I recommend Angela and Sarah to anyone in the Ipswich area, especially anyone on long-haul and multi-city trips. It has been so pleasant to take these trips knowing that the planning has been taken care of and that the selected flights and hotels will always be convenient and comfortable. I'm so glad I found them!

Fantastic experience: We went on a Hurtigruten Northern Lights cruise in 2019 which we booked through Idelo Travel. Both Andrea and Sarah made everything really easy so when we decided that following the last 18 months we needed something to look forward to Idelo was the only place to go. Being a small independent business they give a high quality personal service. We now have our holiday booked for 2023. It was very straightforward they were both very knowledgeable and helpful. We don't need to worry, we know they will advise us on anything we need to know following the pandemic. Less stress for us!

Fantastic experience: We have been using Idelo Travel for ages now, possibly since the agency started. They have been wonderful with every thing they have done for us. Our last trip was really not straightforward involving umpteen flights and 3 well separated countries, but it all worked like a dream, despite have to change a flight because of covid, from the other side of the world. They feel like family now, we have used them so often. And we will continue to use them, Andrea and Sarah are just lovely, helpful and caring and always ready to help. Fantastic experience: Amazing people - wonderful service We had two special occasion trips to arrange and wanted to use a local company and so chose Idelo travel - an independent Suffolk travel agent. And Idelo Travel really did take care of everything – both before and after booking. We had a cruise booked and a trip to Madeira including lots of excursions. Andrea’s cruise knowledge in helping pick the right one for us and Sarah’s tenacious, in-depth help with every aspect of the logistics once booked were invaluable. Then the worst happened and the cruise line (Cruise & Maritime) ceased trading. But for us everything was still stress-free. We were regularly informed and updated on the progress of our claim, and though it took some time, all of our money was returned. They knew exactly what needed to be done. Also due to Covid we had to cancel our Madeira trip and amazingly they were even able to have all of our excursion money refunded... Brilliant!! We have happily booked with Idelo again for this coming year and would recommend them to all.

Fantastic experience: We have just returned from an absolutely perfect honeymoon in the Maldives, courtesy of Andrea and Sarah at Idelo Travel. We went in with just a vague idea of what we wanted to include in our holiday - picture-postcard beaches, a good selection of local and international cuisine and a choice of activities and excursions - and it's fair to say that Idelo more than matched our expectations! Fantastic experience: We booked our trip to Sorrento, Italy through Idelo travel and we couldn’t have had a better experience. As a young couple Idelo travel were exceptional at taking us through all the procedures to properly book the getaway and any additional excursions that we liked the look of. They made the whole experience simple and stress free, while also keeping in good contact with us when it came nearer to the time of our departure. Furthermore, also being helpful while we were in Sorrento with any queries we had. All in all, we had an amazing experience with Idelo travel and will definitely be using them to book our next holiday.

Fantastic experience: At the end of 2019, we contacted Idelo to help us book in our honeymoon for this year. Andrea was really quick to respond and we could see straight away that she was very knowledgeable - often knowing the towns and hotels by name off the top of her head - and the options she presented us with were well researched. One of things I loved about working with Andrea/Idelo was the way the holiday options were presented - we weren't sent one at a time, we were provided with a document which detailed various itineraries tailored to our requirements and a basic price for each, and then various other options of hotels and the price increase/decrease from the basic option, with an added description of each hotel/options. It was incredible to feel so in control of our honeymoon yet so stress-free. We eventually booked our dream honeymoon - with plenty of emails from myself, without a simple complaint from Andrea (and Sarah too!). She was quick to respond and amend any detail. Unfortunately with the current pandemic, we were forced to postpone our wedding and therefore cancel our honeymoon. The support we have received from Idelo has been fantastic however; Andrea responded almost immediately to my email and only a week later we have our honeymoon rescheduled for the following year, almost exactly the same as the original one and we couldn't be more relieved. The thought of cancelling our honeymoon weighed heavily on us, but this was needless worrying - Andrea sorted it quickly and easily. Couldn't recommend more, thank you!

Fantastic experience: We are due to get married in April 2021 and have struggled to find any appealing destinations for our honeymoon so our close friends introduced us to Andrea at Idelo Travel as they had just booked their honeymoon and said the service they received was first class. After a 30 minute video call with Andrea, we received five different options which ticked every box and even more which made our decision even harder. Unfortunately our plans had changed which meant we decided to look for a European mini-honeymoon and look to book our honeymoon later in 2021. This was no trouble for the team and within a day Sarah had sent over some amazing options. It didn't take long for us to make a decision and dealing with a professional team made the process smooth and efficient. We have never received service like it before. Its safe to say we will use Idelo Travel for the future holidays and we generally believe no other travel agent beat their level of service! Thank you again Andrea, Sarah and the team!

Fantastic experience: Planning a trip to celebrate our 10th Wedding Anniversary, we knew that we wanted to return to Sarah at Idelo Travel. She has been so helpful in the past and has always excelled in finding us fantastic holidays tailored just to what we want. Everyone hopes that things run smoothly when taking a holiday but when it does not, as has been the case for many of us in 2020, you want someone you know you can rely on - this has always been a significant consideration when using Ideol - that we know that there is someone there to help. Although like many we have had to postpone, Sarah has managed to move everything over to next year for us – all at no extra cost – and with her usual friendly and efficient manner. It’s times like these when you really do appreciate the service and approach that she provides and why we will continue to return to Idelo for piece of mind and wonderful holidays time and again.

Fantastic experience: Having booked America, Australia, Egypt, Venice with Idelo and getting excellent service and great hotels - decided to book Menorca for June 2020 for 6 people. Holiday with Jet2 so dreaded the hassle of cancelling, refunds and rebooking. Three emails confirming some info - getting and accepting new quote for 2021 - all sorted. So grateful as aware of others having nightmares with bookings through other travel companies. Thank-you - worth 5 stars any day
