Fantastic experience: Our family had a really splendid cruise down the Orwell in SB Victor. The barge is magnificent, very well maintained, and the crew were very friendly, helpful and highly skilled. I cannot think of a better day out for a party nor a more pleasant way to appreciate the delights of the beautiful River Orwell.

Fantastic experience: Hired Victor for party. Had a great day. We self catered so had a lot of stuff to get on and off but the crew were very helpful and very friendly. Pre event communication could be a bit slow but really hard to fault the experience on the day. Thanks!

Nowadays to be found regularly moared along Ipswich Waterfront @ Wherry Quay. The sailing barge would once have been one of many visiting Ipswich's Wherry Quay for transporting & distribution purposes. Not to be missed when exploring this area of the port town, typically providing a classic photo opportunity. Available for cruises outside of Wintertime...

Negative experience: Just would not answer your phone

Fantastic experience: A great afternoon out. We were out for a good 4 hours from 1pm until around 5pm. We went out by motor and came back by sail. The cream tea was fruit and cheesy scones with tea or coffee. The crew were knowledgeable and helpful. The trip back by sail was really peaceful and well worth the money. I would definitely do this again.

Fantastic experience: We thoroughly enjoyed the Victor's Supper Cruise, it was an absolute delight. It was enhanced by excellent weather and for as much of the trip as conditions would allow we were under sail, making for a quiet time. Interrupted by other craft using their engines. The genial skipper can only be described as a barge - man, it is his life, and his intermittent, well timed, commentary on placed of interest was welcome. The supper was well cooked and plentiful, for those with stomachs left with room, there were "seconds" for anyone so inclined. For those hankering for a few peaceful and well fed hours, we can thoroughly recommend the Victor's Supper Cruise.

Fantastic experience: Had a lovely supper cruise with my wife on our anniversary. Food was great (although the chilli was made by a sado-masochistic chef) and plenty of choice and amounts. We sailed under power downstream and under Sail most of the trip back. Lovely atmosphere throughout helped by an extremely friendly crew.
