Fantastic experience: Just spent an hour in Blackpool Store booking two cruises. We were met by Cindy who went above and beyond. She checked over everything explained everything and answered all our questions. A really relaxing experience from start to finish. Thankyou Cindy

Fantastic experience: Cindy from the Blackpool branch was amazing! From start to end she was so attentive and helpful. She found us exactly what we needed for our honeymoon and first holiday together. She took us through all the options including printing off some excursions for us to look at too!

Negative experience: Avoid this store !! they took my payment twice and denied this for 3 days until I insisted on a full investigation with AMEX. They eventually admitted their error and sent us to a store 15 miles away from our home address to claim the refund. Despite a letter of complaint to TUA head office I am yet to receive an official acknowledgement, or explanation.

Fantastic experience: Well... I ain't been n booked a hol 4 yrs.. And I find online poop tbh.... Anyways... I went in today to Birley St, Blackpool, Saturday 30th March. Met by a Hello take a seat... By Jody (she says I'm in training, you can see me or wait for someone else if you like) I chose too stay with Jody. Very polite.... Smiling....she Catered for my. Needs... Checked other things outside the Holiday ie.. Things in local areas.... I. E. Elephant trekking on one hol was gunna go on...... Anyways we looked a variety of.. And it was a toss up between 2....choosing obviously 1... Jody was very patient....and was very helpful indeed.... And while we were waiting for one of her colleagues I nipped out for 2 mins...... And Jody says it won't be long...... And then we can sort and finalise everything.... Thanks Jody... And a great big good luck in your new job, seen as it was your first day or near too your first day..... Thank you kindly... Paul B......

Fantastic experience: We’re not from Blackpool just on holiday. We went into the store for some advice because we are thinking of amending our holiday to Thailand . Despite not booking the holiday there Cindy was happy to answer all my questions even repeating herself a few times when i couldn’t grasp what she was saying. She made some more enquiries the next day and rung me back as promised. Wish I could have booked the cruise with her but we’re going to wait a bit longer see if price comes down further

It wasn't the easiest task but she went above and beyond to ensure that I got exactly what I wanted. Fantastic experience: After spending a few days online looking at holidays to Greece for me and my partner I decided to go into the TUI branch in Blackpool as I had been struggling to find a suitable holiday. We had a few specific details that we couldn’t budge on like times and dates, cost, destination etc so it made looking very difficult and a little stressful. I went in and spoke to a customer assistant caller Josh (didn’t get his second name) and from the minute I was in there to the minute I left he was brilliant with me. The shop was very busy when I first entered and there was people waiting but I never felt rushed or hassled to leave once. At first going in I felt like I was going to come across to picky and demanding but he totally understood everything I needed. He came back with about 4 or 5 options for destinations and in the end picked one that suits us perfectly. I definitely wouldn’t have come across this myself if I was just looking at home. The service provided one first class. Thanks TUI and thanks Josh

Fantastic experience: We went into TUI Blackpool today (21/2/23) and booked a cruise and stay for April this year. The lady we spoke to (Cindy) was extremely helpful and she dealt with everything in a very efficient and competent manner. It was such a pleasure to deal with her and would certainly have no hesitation in visiting her in the future for further holidays.

Negative experience: Book with us, we will look after you they said rather than booking online. After this they rarely pick up the phone or simply turn it off. Mistakes they made - booked our flight for 3 adults rather than 2 adults and 1 child so we couldn’t check in online. Failed to inform us correctly how to log in to Aer Lingus. Failed to send park tickets until we chased repeatedly. Absolute fail of a branch and retraining needed.

Negative experience: I have always gone to tui with holidays but this is the last time I'm visiting blackpool branch. We had been very undecisive on holiday and popped in and out a few time (which for our first holiday as a young couple wanting to explore prices aswell isn't all that bad). We have visited a few times for it to be closed ( before 5.30 when the workers themselves say it closes then) so wasn't massively happy with that. After looking around we went in and told the lady we've found it cheaper elsewhere so please could you meet or beat the price but she was having none of it and even said to us "well its your choice but I know what I'd do" meaning go for the cheaper one with another company :0 and acted very uninterested. We then decided against our original decision and went back to buy a holiday we had both agreed on. We went in to Tui and stood waiting for 15 ish minutes when another man came in, the travel agents had not long put the phone down to ask who was first, I said we were wanting to book a holiday so it may take longer than what the other man wants so I asked him and said it was only to pay his holiday off, I let him go first. The woman then spoke with us not long after and I told her what holiday we want booked and said we had previously been speaking with another lady called Cindy and told us if we wanted to book a holidaywe needed to be there to book by 4.3 althoughthe lady we spoke to pulled a face and said but were open till 5.30 so i dunno why she said that (it was 4.20 at the time), her face dropped abit anyway and walk over to the other lady. Cindy then told her to come back over and tell us no we can't book a holiday were closing?! So she came back and told us she had to run off somewhere so could we come back Monday? (By this point it was 4.30 even though she said infront of us they close at 5.30 !!) . I was fumin, they have lost our custom !! For 1. You heard me loud and clear we was going to book the holiday before I let a man go a head of us so why didn't you tell us then for 2 why lie to us and tell us we had to book by 4.30 but your closing even though you said infront of us you close at 5.30 and for 3 what is with the attitude and lack of customer service :0 !

Negative experience: Can't guarantee if shop is going to be open as their Web site say they are and you turn up and they're closed, so travelled two days running to try and book. Once in and you get to see someone hoping to come away with booked holiday, you get a member of staff who's not really interested, tells you it's not her store and she's had to travel from another town, we also had to travel 20 miles as our Tii shop has permanently closed. Then she complained that she's not been able to go on holiday, so in other words she couldn't be bothered. Then when trying to find something that was close to all amenities required and destinations because my husband cannot walk to far she then said why don't you get him a wheel chair, yes he might not be so good with walking, but what about the poor person having to push him in the heat. I'm sure it's not hard to find something close to beach, shops and restaurants. So now will be looking in line.

Negative experience: Absolutely shocking rang up to book a holiday for me my partner and 2 children was on the phone for half hr for her to say couldnt book are holiday unless we had a landline.... so drove half an hour to my aunties to book and price had gone up by a couple of hundred in the time so then wouldn't book it.... after going to the shop they told me to go said was open till 4 to get there.and ot was closed

Fantastic experience: Great place to seek advice and book that holiday.

Negative experience: No complaints about the frontline staff who are as helpful as they are allowed to be, the staff are hampered by a dictator and bully of a manager, who needs a training course on basic manners and good customer service. Dismissal of the manager would be a huge step forward and allow the staff to give good customer service. Only 1 star thanks to the current manager's disgusting attitude towards paying customers. It would be 0 stars if allowed to put 0 in review.

Negative experience: Apparently opening hours of 9-5.30pm as outlined online doesn't' apply to one random day of each week which is allocated staff training. By training it seems to be staff arriving well after 9am and chatting on the phone. Didn't seem to be doing any training. Terrible.
