Negative experience: I waited two months to make the comment, giving them time to refund the money they agreed upon. But that hasn't happened, and I'm tired of requesting the refund for a hotel night that we didn't use. From the first day in Edinburgh, we informed them that the hotel did not meet minimum standards of cleanliness and service. And that was just the beginning. The overall quality of the trip was very poor in terms of service and the guide's knowledge. For example, since we booked the tour, we requested a native local guide and asked for the names of the hotels. The guide was of Spanish nationality, and they never confirmed the hotels in advance. It gave the impression that they were booking on the fly. Everything felt very improvised. From the first day, we told them that we wouldn't stay at the hotel in Edinburgh that they had planned. They agreed to refund us for that hotel night and for the reservations of some restaurants that they shouldn't have charged us for. Never book with this company. Everything was very expensive and very bad. They didn't even fulfill their agreement to refund us a minimum part of the 4500 pounds we paid for a trip to forget.

Fantastic experience: Wonderful tour we had in Scotland with Alberto (ScotlandTrips International) during five incredible days in which we discovered the most beautiful and spectacular places in the Highlands, the Isle of Skye, and many more sites. What can I say about Scotland? Well, simply that we have fallen in love with these magical lands and dream of returning someday to behold its endless treasures and discover many more that we missed seeing. Fantastic experience: Wonderful!!! Highly recommended. Stunning landscapes that leave you speechless. The autumn colors are incredible!!! Castles, towns, cities, monuments, history... a true dream. Fantastic experience: It has been an impressive tour, the passion for Scotland from a Scotland lover like the guide Alberto has made for a pleasant and complete journey across Scotland day after day. The itinerary has been very thorough with all kinds of explanations from the guide who assisted us every day from morning till night, providing various details about the places visited and helping us learn about the history of Scotland, as well as curiosities and features of the visited locations. If you want to get to know Scotland, in my opinion, this is the best and most complete tour in 8 days that I could evaluate. Looking forward to doing it again!!!! Fantastic experience: My husband and I have recently returned from the 15 day tour, The Great Scottish Tour & the Mystic Islands. This magnificent, comprehensive and balanced tour included a drive around Scotland and the isles of Orkney, Lewis & Harris and Skye. From our first contact via email, the company was very quick to respond and very patient in answering my many, many questions. When we travel, we like to use a local company that is very familiar with their country and the sites to see.  Because of their knowledge and experience, the trip included all of the "must sees" and was very balanced.  There were always a few surprises as well, which was always fun and a nice addition. They took care of all of the details such as airport transfers, accommodations, tickets, etc. so all we had to do was enjoy the trip. And, we did!  Alberto was a very cautious driver and one of the most patient guides we have ever had.  He tried very hard to do whatever he could to keep us happy. He helped with luggage, kept me from falling into streams as we clammered over some large stepping stones, stopped at grocery stores plus many other things. The trip itself was well paced, which is what we like.  Our days didn't start too early but were packed with great sites. Although accommodations are limited on the isles, we were overall very pleased, especially since they were situated in the heart of the villages and towns.  The sites and places we visited were very representative of the best of what Scotland has to offer. Fabulous castles, breath-taking viewpoints, stone circles, lush forests, prehistoric dolmens, lighthouses, whisky tasting, etc. Alberto's love for Scotland was obvious and that helped us feel the real spirit of Scotland. It is difficult to spend a 15 day tour and not have anything to complain about, but we can honestly say we enjoyed everyday, especially since the weather cooperated MOST of the time.  We also were very happy they offered this extended trip because the isles and the Highlands were our favorite locations. So, a very special thanks to all that made our trip so fantastic.
