Fantastic experience: came in store to look at prices for holiday to Croatia next year for me and my hubby, [our first holiday without our kids]. Everyone in the store was very helpful and friendly. I spoke to two lovely young girls, I can't remember there names but they helped us out and gave us fantastic info about Croatia. 10/10 Will be back :)

Fantastic experience: I recently visited the shop to enquire about a family holiday cruise for next year. A young woman named Zoe and a young man named Christian were very quick and happy to help me out. They were really helpful in showing me possible trips and deals that might suit and their overall attitude was second to none. Really happy with my experience :)

Negative experience: I popped into the shop today to possibly speak to someone and get some brochures. I was sat at the waiting area at the back. While sat waiting to speak to someone there was a blonde woman at a desk in front of the foreign exchange counter, I assume she was a manager. She started to complain about the music that was being played, she shouted at the other members of staff asking who was playing their music through the speakers. The way she spoke to a younger woman and the man that was helping me was disgusting. I don’t tend to leave bad reviews but I was affronted by this behaviour and I would to be one of the employees having to deal with that type of management. Do better

Negative experience: Spotted a cruise Australia & Bali. Went into the Barhead travel Glasgow Fort to ask for some more detail ie. Where cruise stops, what hotel in Sydney & in Bali. Shop totally empty, girl with brown hair red dress approached me. When I asked about the cruise she looked at me blank. My husband showed her in the board outside. When I asked a few questions she looked annoyed asking “why do you know Sydney”. Yes I do, lived there for several years. My husband walked out of the shop at that point. Worst attitude I have ever encountered in any travel agency!

Fantastic experience: Aerryn from the Glasgow fort shop is an asset to the company, from the ease and simplicity of booking the holiday to her expert knowledge on the various different cities and excursions. Great customer service!

Fantastic experience: The staff at Barrhead travel in Glasgow fort are fantastic very helpful I recently booked my holiday there for next year with my sister and the staff were friendly and very knowledgable of the area around where I was looking to book offering information on surrounding areas to hotel and things to do nearby. Would definitely use them again. Very welcoming when entering agency.Nothing was to much trouble when looking at other hotels near by and would reprice any hotel I requested.

Negative experience: Don’t trust this lot, they know what they are doing when selling you a package holiday. Disgusted at the treatment. I do not recommend and will not be using them again!!!

Negative experience: I booked a holiday for me and my family and I have been miss sold a half board holiday . On arrival I only have bed and breakfast . This is far from ideal and having contacted the Glasgow fort store the member of staff told me she never mentioned the vouchers . I don’t understand where she is coming from because she was the one who mentioned the £25 allowance . Safe to say I will not be using Barrhead travel again. Disgusted and fell let down and I am now left to pay for dinner even though it wasn’t budgeted for. Terrible customer service . Communicate between client and provider needs to be clearer .

Negative experience: Don't waste your time going here the large lady with brown hair is just so damn rude. We left after 10mins as she just couldn't be bothered.

Negative experience: Came in on Saturday half an our before closing time to get a quote for booking Dinseyland Pairs. I was asked immediately would I be making the booking there and then. I said no likely tomorrow as I would confirm everything with my wife who was not with me. She said and I quote " well I wont be putting any effort into this as prices change every day" . Obviously seen my face and then said she was not being cheeky but there was no point as prices move. I said that I was looking for an idea of costs and that I was not holding them to anything. When asked where I wanted to stay Tara then told asked me why did I want to stay in disney? I said that's what we liked and that we were DVC members and had small kids. She then told me she had went last year and stayed elsewhere and it was better cause they had a pool and was easy to travel. I said both disney hotels I was quoting also had pools and thats what we wanted. She then said I just dont understand why. Other staff were at this point looking very uncomfortable. I got the quotes and left. I the next morning booked with TUI who were great to deal with and was done and paid within 20 mins. I see Barrhead have zero tolerance things on the computers which I though was weird as surly people are happy booking holidays. I now think that its maybe on the wrong side and should be for the staff. I cant remember the last time I had service comparable to this and being this annoyed. Trying to complain is also not easy .... no email contact and phones just ring out.... warning signs for me also and glas I went elsewhere. Terrible experience and no matter prices etc I will never book anything in the future with Barrhead.

Negative experience: From start to finish (Heaven help us there's still a while before taking off) there has been nothing but drama, not taking calls, not returning emails, staff telling us that in store they don't do admin at weekends. It goes on and on. Never again

Positive experience: Booked my cruise through Barrhead and it went brilliantlu but webhad issues with other parts of our holiday that surrounded the cruise eg transfers & overnight city stays. I'm now waiting on the result of my email, with all business, it's not always the problem created but how they deal with it.

Negative experience: I am owed money by barrhead travel, despite promises that they would send the money I'm still waiting, I've phoned and visited the shop at the Fort a few times, my advice is go somewhere else, be careful dealing with this shop

Negative experience: We booked our honeymoon to 2 years ago and have had to change destination twice due to covid, despite losing my initial deposit I decided to stay with Barrhead which turned out to be a huge mistake. Terrible service and completely disinterested after we initially booked. Never heard anything from them and had to contact to get tickets, when asking advice on travel zero effort was given and also horrible advice given in regards to booking our seats. We were confidently advised to wait for the 24hr check in to choose our seats now there are only 2 left together on the whole flight right next to the toilet and its £66 per seat just to book those so to say I'm disappointed is an understatement. I feel like a fool for trusting them. All other advice we asked for we were told they would get back to us via phone or email and not once was this followed up. 6k spent on a holiday and they couldn't care less about us. Disgraceful, disgusting service, what was the point of even using them when I could have saved myself the stress and just booked online? I will never set foot in another Barrhead and will be actively telling people to avoid them.

Negative experience: Probably the worst experience I have ever had trying to book a holiday . Wasn’t interested in what type of accommodation we wanted or offered seats on plane , only thing she was interested in was grabbing payment machine . Awful !! Cumbernauld are 100% better than Glasgow Fort nightmare !!
